Great news for issue in the name of multiculturalism and multidisciplinary

The Festival of the Five Continents, the traveling exhibition conceived and organized by the cultural association "Il Circo dell'Arte", starts with some interesting news from Venosa specially designed to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the event, whose artistic direction was entrusted once again to Pasquale Cappiello's "Artistic Management", architect of constant qualitative growth of the event.

The tenth edition of the festival will be an opportunity to evolve and embrace new forms of art -from literature and photography, music, contemporary art, al cinema –, while retaining the objective of always: enhancement of the historic center and its monuments as a place to live and rediscover. The theme of the festival will be as usual multiculturalism, to allow the public to learn about worlds far and near through the encounter with different cultures and peoples. In addition to traditional performances of street theater and contemporary circus, brought to the scene by companies from around the world, the Festival of the Five Continents will also propose numerous cultural events, which will take place in different places of the historical center of Venosa.

Particular importance will launch the first edition of "Blues in Venosa", on Wednesday 23 July opens the billboard venosino the Festival of the Five Continents with a concert, scheduled in Piazza Castello, one of the most appreciated Italian blues band at the international level, Guitar Ray and the Gamblers, accompanied on stage by a special guest, the great American guitarist Kirk Fletcher, well characterized from the outset by an artistic proposal to the height of the longest-running and most prestigious blues festivals.

Sunday 27 July will be the time of the meeting with the author Nicola Viceconti, who will speak in the appointment of his novels entitled "Emigration, tango, Memory, identity ", under the patronage of the Embassy of Argentina in Italy. The event will see the presence of the famous bibliomotocarro Antonio La Cava, to put in contact with the books even the smallest. Other literary events are expected on 7 August with the presentation of "sui generis" of the book "How a hummingbird" Alessio Polloch and the next day with the author Iranian Esmail Mohades, author of the book "A voice in. Inside the festival can not miss the circus-theater, thanks to the show "Variety All'inCirco!”, which will be staged 5 August by the company Lannutti / Corbo, between bizarre and absurd masks. To close the calendar, Tuesday 12 August, will be the pianist and composer Rocco lied, with his concerto for piano only when presented to the public, gathered in Piazza Orazio, the songs from his first album titled "Textures".
