Back to the summer event with fun and laughter, returns to the Festival of Cabaret in Basilicata and Calabria. As is the case for thirteen years now, the machine put up by the cultural association "Il Circo dell'Arte" starts looking for new talents of cabaret and comedy. The artistic direction of the event this year has been entrusted to Pasquale Cappiello Art of Management.

Born in 2002, the Festival of Cabaret is proposed since then to carry out continuous monitoring of the realities emerging artistic representative of the new stylistic trends of comedy at the national level, offering a window as wide as possible about the many directions in which you move the cabaret. An event over time become a fixture in the calendar of regional initiatives and has helped to bring this branch of the art to a wider audience.

The final between the comedians selected emerging in recent months will be a single evening Monday 11 August Castelgrande (PZ), in the scenario of the Astronomical Observatory of Toppo Castelgrande, beginning of the show at 21.30. Competitors will vie, to the sound of gag, antics and hilarious sketch, the prestigious victory will: Emiliano Morana (Lazio), Vincenzo Palace (Lazio), Antonio Montuori (Puglia), Francesco Casagrande (Campania), Torricelli Boys (Puglia), I Terzincomodi (Lazio / Campania / Sicily), Bon It should (Lazio). A jury composed of professionals and personalities from the world of culture will decide the winner.

The final Castelgrande will also have two important guests, that will surround the race veritable: Katamura & Seguacio and Santino Caravella. At present the evening the Wizard Mancini.
